9 months behind....

Last post I wrote it was Spring Break for the boys. I was on vacation and we were touring the grandparents houses and enjoying our visits. 9 months later...a lot happens in that time period between March and November, and maybe someday I'll write about it....but for now I'll just summarize:

April- my firstborn gave his life to Christ. Donny and I couldn't have been more proud as friends and family witnessed and celebrated his baptism with us.

May- boys finished off good years at school and received the gift of a lifetime when Nonny invited us to go with her on a special trip to Williamsburg, VA. It was beyond amazing and deserves a HUGE post all by itself but probably won't get one since I did a digital scrapbook of it as soon as I got home!

June- Donny's grandmother passed away after a long road of dementia. Gathering to celebrate her life with family was very sweet. Colby and I went to Camp Revolution with our church and had a BLAST!

July- can't remember much from this month except it went FAST....

August- we had a family vacation to Pagosa Springs, CO with Nonny and PawPaw where we did amazing things like river rafting and old timey photos. My Dad took me on a hot air balloon ride which has been on my bucket list for years! Schools started back at the end of the month and we had a Sorrells family reunion labor Day weekend.

September- Nana's 70th birthday party at our house was a great time to celebrate one of our favorite people! Kendra started a new part time job one day a week at a little pediatric therapy place close to home.

October- We celebrated PawPaw's birthday a little early when they came to take care of Monica's kids. I should have mentioned that in September Tyler began playing on the senior league of KYA football, and Brady began playing soccer for a YMCA team with a friend from church. Colby decided to sit the season out and hang on until basketball season got started in the winter. So....week nights were busy with practices and games on Saturdays were fun fun!

November- Colby and I ran our first 5k with Teen Lifeline, and we wrapped up our sports seasons. Celebrating Donny and Kendra's birthdays was great....and now what do you know- I'm current! As I type, I'm on my way home from Midland where we spent Thanksgiving with my family! Whew! I feel better :). And this is my first time to use mobile blogger on my phone so fun all the way around! Pictures may or may not be posted....we will see if I can figure it out!! 9 months of experiencing God's provision- He is ALWAYS good!
