Nonny and PawPaw came into town the weekend before Christmas, and we had fun days being together. Nana and Papa came about the same time as well, which made it extra fun to have both sets of grandparents in town for Christmas celebrations!

Nonny was very surprised by PawPaw's gift to her - an iPad2! She was speechless (doesn't ever happen!!)

The Heads went home then the boys made sure and put out reindeer food and cookies and milk for Santa. And Dad made sure to read them "Twas the Night Before Christmas", too!
Merry Christmas!! After everyone opened their stockings up to see what the Big man left for them, we had a yummy breakfast with cinnamon rolls and casserole, then opened presents.
Santa brought an iPod! "That only plays music", just like Brady wanted!

After we opened presents and had breakfast, Nana and Papa joined us for some time together and family pictures with grandparents!
The Heads came back over for Christmas lunch - homemade enchiladas! Aric's parents and brother joined us as well. It was all good...until Nonny got sick right before lunch and we had to make it happen without her!! Thankfully she was better by the next day - we don't like it when Nonny gets sick!!
All the boys enjoyed playing Uncle Aric's Wii game - hunting animals and shooting them with a gun. Awesome.
The little kids enjoyed Annie's new Kids Dance Wii game! Too cute.

Randy was the lucky winner of the rappin' Santa in the adult Chinese exchange. By the way, why do we call it a wrappin' Santa - it's clearly a tree??
Randy and Kelly gave Donny and I a gift with a twist...a puzzle with clues to give us the location of our gift, which was a gift card for a dinner! So tricky!
Nana and Papa gave all the kids these little toys...they loved them - were mesmerized by the lights...
Kids chinese had a high tech twist this year - each kid had a clue they had to follow to find their sack. Some clues had QR reader codes they had to scan with an iPhone and some directed them to call someone and get another clue, etc. They loved it!
Everyone ended up getting a new snuggly blanket made by Nana. Yay!
These Vaughns - they are fun, creative, and a ball to be around! I'm thankful they are my family! God is good!
